Again, I am not an internet guru and at best an amateur website builder, who has spent most of his law practice. Well, how did I get indexed and how quickly did I get a high position on the Google page? I will describe below what I did to get the high Google rankings on my first website, and which rankings I had and counted for a number of weeks. Hopefully you can try some of the things I did and find some success so that your website will be indexed and quickly get a top position in Google. It can be frustrating, but research and a bit of work make it possible.

Essentially use Google Search. At every step in the process I googled the questions I had on the subject in the process of using a website. I studied different informational articles from my Google searches at every step of the process. First I googled how to make a website. There are many articles on this subject and many sites allow you to open their website for free and be hosted. Most sites for building websites have a new friendly format that even a beginner like myself can hardly miss the implementation. Many have some nice Google widgets that you can add to improve your site, and most offer good support for free.

After you get an idea for your site (for example, a dealer for collectible sports souvenirs), Google may use the words that a sports souvenir collector could use Google to buy or sell its products. There you learn the magic of keywords in your title and text. They are keywords that attract Google search engines and that must be relevant to the subject of the website. Google terms such as- increase your Google website ranking and follow the advice of others on this topic, and all articles discussed the importance of keywords.

In my opinion, keywords are crucial. You want valuable and unique text on your site page. However, the Google search engines want to see and touch those keywords. Have you noticed how I used keywords in this article? For example, Google rankings, Google searches, Google indexing, etc. Discover which keywords the successful sites use for your topic and do it better than they do. Keywords must be placed in your title, description and in your text. Be careful not to add too many keywords and insult the Google robots. How much is too much, I don't know. However, in my opinion, try to make more than a thousand words of good relevant content in your text, including the keywords that Google likes. Some say that no more than five percent of your text content must be keywords to be safe.

You will hear about getting Google ranking with backlinks. I believe that backlinks are very important for a top Google ranking. However, a handful can suffice and they are not too difficult to get. My understanding of backlinks is that they are links from other indexed sites that are linked to your site in one way or another. In other words, someone can click on your link from your site to get to you. Backlinks can come from web directories, preferably about your topic (don't miss Google's, DMOZ) and you must submit to as many directories as you can. Backlinks also come from articles that you have written and that contain the url of your website in the text. I have written articles for the main article players, EzineArticles, GotoArticle, HubPages, etc.

I have also written blogs. Digg, Blogger, Blogspot, WordPress, etc are striking blogs. I have included the URL of my site in my text or have added my link somewhere on the backlink blog. For some reason, Google especially likes EzineArticles and WordPress. EzineArticles is only in a class and is very selective. My submissions did well on these sites in the Google searches. The published articles and blogs with your url in the text or attachment will, in my opinion, let you get indexed quickly and increase your rankings as much as anything you do.
